Online order payment will be made using PayPal™. On PayPal, you can choose to use either a credit card or a PayPal account.

SCHEDULE/ LEAD TIMES : We are continually working to reduce our lead time, but due to delays beyond our control, we can not guarantee an accurate delivery date more than a couple months out. Our backorder is currently about 6 months. That is a very conservative schedule, anticipationg some delays. We expect to pull in our schedule. Email us for a more accurate lead time estimate.

PRICE GUARANTEE : We will make every effort to build your trailer for the price quoted when you order. In the event of significant materials price fluctuations, caused by events like a pandemic or supply chain disruptions, we reserve the right to adjust the final price of your trailer. When we are close to starting your trailer, we will send you an invoice with our current best prices. You will have the option of canceling or continuing your order at that time. If you continue your order, your price will be locked-in, at that time. If you choose to cancel, due to a price change, we will refund your down payment.

DOWN PAYMENT : Paying the down payment of ... now will guarantee you the next available place in line. When you place your order, you will be given an estimated completion date. Click on the "Pay Downpayment" button below the order Total. You will pay the down payment amount now using PayPal. Your order will be confirmed, by email, and you will be given, by email, an approximate completion date for your trailer. You will also receive a preliminary invoice showing the current price. This may not be your final price. (see Price Guarantee above)

ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS : Once you recieve an Invoice from Road Toad, you may make additional payments online by going to the Payments page Here. You may also make additional payments by personal check, bank check, credit card, PayPal, or cash. Additional payments are not required.

FINAL PAYMENTS : Your trailer must be paid for in full before it can be picked up or shipped. If you want to make the final payment at the time of pickup, you must pay by cashier's check or credit card. A personal check will be accepted for final payment but must be mailed to us at least two weeks before pickup or shipping to allow time for the check to clear.

TAXES : If you pick up your trailer at the Road Toad facility in Necedah, Wisconsin, you will be required to pay 5.5% Wisconsin Sales Tax.

If your home state charges more than 5.5% sales tax, you will be required to pay the difference to your home state when you register your trailer.

Road Toad is not required to charge Wisconsin sales tax to trailers delivered out of the state of Wisconsin. If you have your trailer shipped to you, you will not pay Wisconsin sales tax, but will still pay the full amount of sales tax your home state requires.

If your state does not charge sales tax, but you want to come to Wisconsin to pick up your trailer, you can avoid paying Wisconsin sales tax by having Road Toad deliver your trailer to the Minnesota State Line (about 70 miles) near La Crosse, WI. Road Toad charges a delivery fee for this service, but it is less than the Wisconsin sales tax. Delivering to other State Lines is not cost saving, due to greater distances.

CHANGING ORDER : You may make changes to your order any time up until we start building your trailer. If you wish to make a change, you should email us with your change. If we are not able to make the change, we will let you know why. Don't worry too much about getting your order perfect at the time you pay the down payment. You will be able to adjust it while you are waiting for your trailer build to start.

CANCELING ORDER : If you wish to cancel your order, notify Road Toad by email as soon as possible, the timing of the cancelation will determine how it will be handled.

Road Toad will contact you before we start building your trailer, confirming any last-minute changes. If you cancel at that time, before Road Toad has started building your trailer, you will be refunded your full down payment or full price paid.

Once Road Toad has started building your trailer, if you decide to cancel, a cancellation fee of $300 or your down payment amount, whichever is smaller, will be incurred. Any amount paid, above the cancellation fee will be refunded.
